TESDA Online Program
TESDA became partners with Nephila on the year 2021. Nephila migrated their TESDA’s Moodle LMS (TESDA Online Program) to a server infrastructure that we designed that would be able to smoothly accommodate their around 1 Million users at that time and thousands of concurrent users accessing all at the same time. As of this time, they have around 3 million registered users. The migration and upgrading to the latest Moodle version was a success after multiple testing phases.
Philippine Science High School System
The Philippine Science High School System has 16 campuses in the Philippines. At the height of the pandemic in the year 2020, PSHS decided to implement an online platform called Knowledge Hub (KHub) with the use of the Moodle LMS to be able to deliver learning contents to their students at the safety of their homes.
Philippine Obstetrical and Gynecological Society
The RISE 2021 was conducted using Moodle LMS and Safe Exam Browser (SEB) with the Nephila Team providing technical support and facilitation during the mock schedules and the actual RISE. This is a high stake examination, and we have provided a server setup optimized to accommodate 1,108 concurrent users accessing the exams, and around 800 users of concurrent submissions at a time. This is highly server intensive, we proposed multiple mock testings to identify the proper setup we have done for them.
Central Bicol State University of Agriculture
The Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA) has four campuses across the Bicol Region, and they have one Moodle LMS Platform. The CBSUA Virtual Learning Portal (VLP) has a total of 23,601 registered users currently. The platform was previously hosted on their own servers and they were the one who maintains and manages it. Due to some issues experienced by their users and admins alike, they decided to consult with Nephila Web and move to migrate their VLP to our cloud server.
Norwegian Training Center
The Norwegian Training Center (NTC) is the preferred maritime and offshore simulator training partner to the global shipping community. It is the first maritime training center in the world to be certified by Det Norske Veritas. On the year 2020, NTC moved to create their courses on an online learning platform and they have choosen Moodle LMS and us, Nephila Web as their provider.
Philippine Competition Commission
The Philippine Competition Commission (PCC) has been pursuing different advocacy and capacity-building programs to raise awareness of the Philippine Competition Act (PCA) and improve enforcement of the legislation. Last July 2021, PCC became partners with Nephila to establish their on-demand online learning program named the iCLP: Online Learning Hub on Competition Law and Policy (CLP).
Denso Techno Philippines
Denso Techno Philippines Inc., Guided Online Accelerated Learning System (DTPH GOALS) is a web-based platform that offers Courses for the general knowledge and fundamental skills development of the DTPH Associates. They have set up learning plans and created multiple courses for each. This was previously hosted on their on-premise server until they have chosen to partner with us, Nephila Web Technology Inc. as they need help in improving their theme design, course contents and upgrading to the latest versions.
Mariano Marcos State University
Mariano Marcos State University has a long history with using the Moodle LMS platform for their institution. They put up the server on their on-premise servers and manage the platform on their own. They encountered challenges due to their need to increase resources on server and storage to be handle their growing number of students in their institution. They have sought help from us to provide solution to this challenges.
The Asia Foundation
The Asia Foundation Organization is a non-profit organization which provides trainings with regards to Human Rights to their stakeholders. Their Moodle platform was previously hosted on a different cloud by a different provider. All the courses was also developed from this different provider.
Southwestern University PHINMA
Southwestern University PHINMA has established itself as a reputable leader in medicine and allied health programs. They operate under PHINMA Education. This year they partnered with us, Nephila Web to establish their Learning Management System, Moodle with Integration to Examus-Alemira proctoring.
