Mariano Marcos State University has a long history with using the Moodle LMS platform for their institution. They put up the server on their on-premise servers and manage the platform on their own. They encountered challenges due to their need to increase resources on server and storage to be handle their growing number of students in their institution. They have sought help from us to provide solution to this challenges.

We migrated their full VLE from on-premise to AWS Cloud. The infrastructure was designed to cater to their needs of 1500 concurrent users with 6000 GB of storage. The full site backup files (moodle, moodledata, database) size was a total of 3000 GB. Migrating this big data took us almost 2 weeks to acquire and restore. After restoration we have upgraded their LMS Site from Moodle 3.9 to Moodle 4.0 and updated all necessary plugins as well. The MVLE is now up and running.

They have undergone the Moodle Training for Site Administrators to further enhanced their skills in Moodle Management and then a training for H5P Interactive Content as well used to create interactive contents in their Moodle Courses.
